Welcome back to school! We should be thrilled this year, for we have new Music Theory Textbooks!!
Also, we’re going to be learning to operate Sibelius! Sibelius is the state-of-the-art music composition and publishing program that is use by the major music publishing companies around the world. We will also be using some other educational programs developed to work specifically with Sibelius to assist in ear-training, compositional development, part-writing, and analysis. If you’d like a head-start, go to www.sibelius.com and download their preview version and you can practice with the program.

YAY! I love music theory!! I can’t wait until we start using the computers.
i really like using the computers, and it’s helped me a lot more with identifying the intervals…moreeee would be awesome, even if we’ve just started using them =)
